MiG 29 crashes in Himachal Pradesh

The police said on Wednesday that an Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG 29 crashed in Himachal Pradesh's Lahual Valley and also added that the rescue workers had begun to search for survivors in the mountanious areas.
There is no official confirmation about the number of people who were on board when the plane crashed on Tuesday night.
Superintendent of police told the reporters that a communication was received from the IAF at around 8:30 pm that a MiG 29 has crashed.
He said that a team of rescue workers had reached Chokhan village from where they had started marched the mountain to reach the accident spot.
The officer added that the accident spot is perfidious and inaccessible. IAF choppers were likely to be deployed to reach the spot.
Chokhan village is about 40 kms from the district headquarters of Keylong and 450 km from Shimla.
Deputy Commissioner said that they have no information about the number of people who were on board the aircraft.
