Telangana: KCR steps up attack, fasts at Rajghat

The Telangana issue is now threatening to take a new turn as protests entered  their 20th day on Sunday. Stepping up the pressure was TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who sat on a fast on Sunday at Rajghat.
Rao was fasting at Rajghat for a separate state for Telangana on the day of Gandhi Jayanti. Since he went on to a two week fast in December 2009, this is the second time he has gone for fasting. But unlike last time, this time his fast was more symbolic in nature.
Rao questioned that, at first there was a Pranab Mukherjee Committee and later on there was Shri Krishna Committee and now Azad Committee, why are they actually testing their patience.
Andhra Pradesh Congress-in-Charge Ghulam Nabi Azad, who gave a report to Congress President Sonia Gandhi on how to move forward in resolving the Telangana tangle, was also in Hydrebad. He is also looking forward to hold talks with the stake holders, which he knows that it's a tough job.
The congress dilemma remains the same, that is, how to take the pro and anti-Telangana voices together. The party remains split down the middle. Its MPs and MLA s from the Telangana region have already submitted their resignations to force their demand.
