Direct links to download Windows 7 (64-bit)

windows 7Such links are part of the software distribution (ESD) and point to three files hosted on servers with the following domain: msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net and owned by Digital River which is the official Microsoft Marketplace e-commerce store. As you may guess, the above-mentioned links have not been unveiled by Microsoft for obvious reasons, but there is the news. Somebody has leaked them in the Internet. So, let’s find out together the direct, official links to download Windows 7 (64-bit version).

Like I said before, if you want to download Windows 7 you have to keep in mind that you won’t get a single ISO file, What you will get instead is a software distribution (ESD) containing three files.

  1. Win7-P-Retail-en-us-x64.exe
  2. setup1.box
  3. setup2.box
After you have downloaded these files, put them to a single location such a folder. After that click the .EXE file to unpack the whole package to the folder containing these files.
