Apple is currently using 3.5-inches for the iPhone 4G. There are news that apple is thinking about expanding the screen to 4-inches. This move will bring apple in better position in competing with the smartphones powered with Android platform, which are gaining fame.
Most of the smartphones’ screen size ranges between 4-9.7 inches including tablets. Well apple will be in better position in the smartphone market by expanding the screen to 4-inches. Also it will have the smallest gadget in the smartphone and tablet market which will be a bit more helpful for iPad, which is only tablet from Apple Inc competing in the market.
On the other hand Dell Streak is giving tough time to apple iPhone and iPad. These things are being reported by a Taiwanese blog named DigiTimes.
iPhone Nano:
There are also rumors about the iPhone nano reported by the DigiTimes. May be apple is trying to expand its variety in the smartphone market by making variation in the screen size and ultimately cost. More-over the source of that report says that the apple is building three prototypes models of the “iPhone5” which includes a version with sliding cover that conceals a keyboard. Never imagined an iPhone with a key board?
A4 & A5 Chips:
The report also states that the apple is in connection with the TSMC for help in making the A4 chips. The iPad second generation will be equipped with the improved version of A4 and A5 will power the iPhone 5G. TSMC will manufacture improved A4 chips initially and then A5, which will make TSMA the exclusive producer for the A5 chips.
These were the tech-bites from the apple world, but nothing is confirmed or rejected yet by official source. It is the time which will decide ultimately. And the verdicts and assurances of the better performances will be checked by the user with the passage of the time.
