Samsung Galaxy R smartphone

Samsung has official launched its very first Tegra 2-powered smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy R smartphone. The handset was exposed last month in Sweden and has inspired by that of the Samsung Galaxy S II flagship. It is including a metal back cover (instead all-plastic on S II).
The Samsung Galaxy R smartphone is boasts Tegra 2 super chip, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system.
Samsung Galaxy R  super phone packs 4.19-inch Super Clear LCD touchscreen display with WVGA (800 x 480) resolution, a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, and GPS.
As connectivity, Samsung Galaxy R smartphone has a micro USB port, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 3.0. Dimensions of Galaxy R are 125.7 x 66.7 x 9.55 mm and weight 131 grams.

Samsung Galaxy R , a new android smartphone from Samsung

Samsung launched in Seoul, Samsung Galaxy R, the latest smartphone based on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Galaxy R has a metallic thin and light design, 1 GHz Dual Core processor and a wide range of advanced features for social experiences and content.



According to the technical data, Galaxy R is positioned after the current flagship, Samsung Galaxy S II and you may also consider it the Galaxy S II smaller brother.

The housing of the new Samsung Galaxy R has a thickness of only 9.55 mm and the phone weight is 131 grams. Galaxy R is equipped with a battery of 1650 mAh providing 580 minutes of conversation and 550 hours in standby. Galaxy R, with it's 5MP camera (compared to 8 MP Samsung's Full HD for Galaxy S II) can record HD 720p videos and play HD 1080p videos at 30fps on a Super Clear LCD touch screen of 4.2 inch and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy R has full connectivity support (HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth), and also the navigation (GPS, A-GPS, Google Maps).
